ICYMI: U.S. Senator Katie Britt Joins “The Will Cain Show” to Discuss Republicans’ Continued Commitment to Elevating Women’s Voices
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.) joined “The Will Cain Show” on Fox News along with Congresswoman Kat Cammack (R-Fla.) to discuss their newly launched bicameral Republican Women’s Caucus (RWC) and highlight their priorities and objectives as co-chairs.
As the first woman from Alabama and the youngest Republican woman ever elected to the U.S. Senate, Senator Britt has been an important voice and a champion for women throughout her term in Congress. “We know that women’s issues are American issues,” she stated. “[Republicans] won the Presidency and both the House and the Senate. It’s those issues we want to continue to elevate: protecting our children, creating economic opportunity, having secure borders, actually understanding peace through strength. President Trump is on a mission, and we are proud to be alongside him.”

Senator Britt and Congresswoman Cammack’s announcement was made at the White House during President Trump’s celebration of Women’s History Month.
Senator Britt praised President Trump’s efforts and his remarks at the White House, saying, “There were women from all across America, everyone, saying, thank you, thank you for making promises and actually keeping them. We talked about all of the things that he’s done and all the things he’ll continue to do . . . He talked about different issues that he knew were going to give women opportunity, but would give all Americans an opportunity to achieve the American Dream . . . women are excited to be seen again, not erased like the left tried to erase us over the last four years.”

The Republican Women’s Caucus, made up of the Republican women’s membership in the House of Representatives and Senate, will focus on prioritizing and elevating the voices of Republican women, growing their roles in positions of leadership, and supporting policies that will enhance the quality of life for all Americans.
Senator Britt also recently attended President Trump’s executive order signing at the White House on National Girls and Women in Sports Day, where he restored the integrity of Title IX to ensure biological men are not competing in women’s and girls’ sports. “I appreciate President Trump’s leadership on this critical issue, and I am proud to be a cosponsor of Senator Tuberville’s Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, which would codify these protections. I will always defend the rights of women and girls to compete in athletics fairly and safely,” said the Senator.
