WASHINGTON, D.C., January 6, 2025 – U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.) released the following statement after taking part in Congress’ certification of electoral votes for President Trump.
“I was proud to participate in certifying the election of our nation’s 47th President, Donald J. Trump. His resounding, historic victory in November was a message from the American people that they want a president who will put them first—making America safe, strong, and prosperous again. I’m excited for the start of President Trump’s second term, and I look forward to attending his and Vice President-elect J.D. Vance’s inauguration two weeks from today.”
