Votes to confirm President Trump’s Secretary of the Army

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.) today voted in support of President Donald Trump’s nominee to serve as Secretary of the Army, Dan Driscoll. His nomination was confirmed by a vote of 66-28.

“Today, I was proud to vote to confirm my friend Dan Driscoll as Secretary of the Army. I am confident Secretary Driscoll’s leadership will support our soldiers and modernize the Army’s cutting-edge capabilities and assets to ensure our warfighters remain the best equipped, trained, and ready in the world,” said Senator Britt.  

“Secretary Driscoll understands and appreciates the tremendous role Alabama’s Army installations play in strengthening America’s national defense and force readiness. I look forward to working with him to maximize the impacts of Fort Novosel, Redstone Arsenal, and Anniston Army Depot to provide President Trump and Secretary Hegseth with the resources needed to achieve peace through strength,” concluded Senator Britt.
