WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.) released the following statement after the Senate unanimously voted to confirm Secretary of State Marco Rubio by a vote of 99-0, who became the first of President Trump’s nominees to be confirmed:

“Senate Republicans immediately got to work putting President Donald Trump’s cabinet in place with the unanimous confirmation of my friend, Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
